Introduction

上海交通大学材料科学与工程学科始于1952年，是国内最早建立材料学科的高校之一，并于1997年正式成立学院。材料学科连续十多年入围ESI 1‰学科，2021年QS排名升至全球第20位，正迈向世界一流学科。学院以国家重大需求和国际学术前沿为导向，着力打造高水平人才队伍，欢迎青年人才加入。

The starting of the School of Materials Science and Engineering (SMSE) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) can be traced back to 1952. SJTU was among the first few Chinese Universities in setting up the discipline of Materials Science and Engineering. The MSE program at SJTU has been consistently ranked in the top 1‰ of the ESI, and its ranking reached the 20th globally and the 4th domestically in the latest QS World University Rankings in Material Science (2021). SJTU-SMSE strives to recruit top talents who wish to be a part of the team in building world-class platform to solve both scientific challenges and engineering problems that are critical to the sustainable development of the society. 长聘教轨（副教授/助理教授）

Tenure Track ( Assistant/Associate Professor)

年龄一般不超过40周岁

40 years old or younger

在世界一流大学、一流学科或科研机构获得博士学位的优秀毕业生

Graduated with PhD from a world-class university or scientific research institution

具有相关领域助理教授、博士后等科研工作经历

Had experience as an assistant professor or a post-doctor in related fields.

已取得一些学术研究成果，具有较好的学术发展潜力

Good scientific achievements with high potential in academic research

具备主讲课程和指导研究生的能力

Ability to teach graduate courses and guide graduate students

博士后人员

Post-doctor

年龄一般不超过35周岁

35 years old or younger

优秀博士后可优先申请我院长聘教轨岗位

Outstanding postdocs will be considered favorably for the tenure track positions at SMSE of SJTU
